Missio Africanus

Established in 2014, Missio Africanus is a learning community dedicated to unleashing the missional capabilities of African and other non-Western Christians residing in Britain. Our mission is to enable the UK church to receive and leverage the talents of the diaspora Christian community, while empowering them to effectively disciple their second generation and extend their reach beyond their own communities. To achieve this, we bring together British and non-Western church leaders to engage in mutual learning, enriching the broader church community. Our organization was founded in Birmingham with the assistance of the late Reverend Gabriel Diya, a Nigerian RCCG pastor in Charlton. Over the years, we have united a diverse group of mission leaders, representing various denominations, ethnic and cultural backgrounds, and theological perspectives, to envision how we can participate in God's mission in the contemporary world.
