Mission Possible

At Mission Possible, we believe in "Empowerment Through Opportunity." Since 1992, we’ve been a leader in community economic development in Vancouver's Downtown Eastside. Our mission is to empower individuals to achieve a renewed sense of dignity and purpose through meaningful work. We address barriers to employment by providing supportive, transitional jobs for those who are ready to enter the workforce. When overcoming homelessness, poverty, disability or other barriers, it can be difficult to build a sustainable livelihood. We create a pathway and walk alongside those on that journey. As part of this program, we currently run two social enterprises, MP Maintenance and MP Neighbours, that employ an average of 90 individuals in transitional jobs.
