Mississippi Export Railroad

Strategically located in on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, MSE is a short line railroad providing economical logistics solutions from the southeast US to Western Canada. It is the north-south corridor connecting the Canadian National Railroad (CN) and the CSX Transportation (CSXT) while linking in Mobile, AL, to the Norfolk Southern (NS), CG Railway (CGR), Alabama and Gulf Coast Railway (AGR), in Hattiesburg, MS, to the NS, and in Jackson, MS, to the Kansas City Southern (KCS) through haulage agreements. Beyond rail freight movement, MSE offers railcar maintenance, cleaning, and storage (5 yards storing up to 1,600 cars), locomotive repair, track maintenance, industry switching, barge access, transloading, and access to the Ports of Pascagoula and Mobile. Further, MSE has multiple certified project-ready industrial sites with warehousing opportunities. Serviced by MSE rail, sites are within close proximity to major highways, interstates, and waterways.
