I have spent the last 30 years in real estate. Growing up in rural Wisconsin, my goal was to better the financing options for the small family farmer, I pursued an education in Agri-business and Finance. After graduation, I was hired by a local Credit Union where I learned the basics of residential and agricultural lending programs. I later joined Firstar Home Mortgage Team in Madison,WI as a mortgage Processor. The wealth of knowledge I gained with residential real estate financing (Conventional, FHA, VA and New Construction) rooted my passion for a career in real estate. Fast forward a few more years, I moved to Kentucky as the Operations Manager for Kentucky with Firstar Home Mortgage (now known as US Bank). During my term as OM, I was able to meet and brainstorm with many Realtors, Builders and Appraisers. All playing an important process in homeownership and fueling my passion to learn more. As I continued to work, I was going to school working on my Accounting Degree to better serve my clients but also as a fallback career should I need it. In 2006, I was given the opportunity to put my passion together with my on-the-job lessons as well as my formal education and went to work for Lancaster Built Homes. Through all of this, I had never considered obtaining my Real estate license, but a little push encouraged me to go for it. So in November of 2015, I became a licensed real estate agent and have never looked back. Today, I am blessed to work in an industry I love and bring my life lessons, both through hands-on and through formal education, into great use and help you obtain the goal of homeownership.
