Mist Mongol Barota

Team Mongol Barota started its journey back in 2013 and ever since its inception, the prime objective of the team has been fabricating futuristic Mars rovers and presenting them before the world by participating in prestigious rover challenges around the globe. As future engineers, we prioritise synergic efforts all throughout in any project to turn our vision to reality. Going with the motto, ‘Inspiring the Mars Generation of Bangladesh’ our smart crew has developed four Mars exploration rovers over the years. Mongol Barota topped in University Rover Challenge (URC) 2021 in a virtual final overriding 88 prominent teams participating from all over the world. As a rover team of a developing nation with resource scarcity, this was a dream come true for the hardworking members of Mongol Barota. The team also secured 12th and 9th position in URC2014 and URC2015 consecutively. Furthermore, the team also participated in European Rover Challenege (ERC) 2016.
