Mister Bee Kenya

We make eco-friendly bee hives that save on trees. We no longer need to cut down trees to make bee hives. We have innovated wood-free bee hives by using an alternative material; concrete to make Mister Bee Concrete Bee hives. Our innovative approach as Mister Bee is research-based where we attempt to bridge the huge gap between honey demand in Kenya that stands at 125 Metric tonnes with a paltry supply of 25 Metric tonnes. We found out that the wooden bee hive is not an adequate equipment to achieve this gap mainly due to: being susceptible to Honey Badger attacks, theft, burglary, wax moths, black ants and extreme heat. Our innovative Mister Bee Concrete Bee hive answers to all these challenges adequately and hence is the appropriate bee-keeping equipment that will spur honey production and economic development. We have also deployed innovation in our business model to encompass a business model that gives guaranteed market access to the bee keepers' honey thus spurring economic development from otherwise idle lands.
