Mitek Analytics

Mitek Analytics is a startup led by Stanford and GA Tech professors and supported by USAF investment. The main product is Supply Chain AI Twin (SCAIT), a software app for Reliability & Maintenance and Supply Chain operations. Fully automated data analysis provides detailed engineering reports and actionable executive recommendations. The capability uses existing line maintenance data and/or logistics data. SCAIT improves effectiveness and efficiency of maintenance and supply chain by finding issues and their root causes. It enables cost avoidances and optimizations of line maintenance, part overhaul, reliability, spares supply and availability, fleet readiness, and more. SCAIT has been deployed for two dozen part fleets in combat and transport aircraft, civilian aircraft, helicopters, and missile fleet. Specific past performance data include: • $270M cost avoidance reported in early, limited scope, USAF study. • A-10 part caused half of fleet availability problems. After SCAIT deployment MTBF increased by 70%. • F-16 rare but catastrophic failure was a concern. SCAIT helped to avoid very costly fleet-wide part replacement. SCAIT cloud app currently interfaces with DoD ADVANA as well as airline AMOS, TRAX, and Maintenix ERP systems of record. Today, USAF uses AI reports generated by the app off-line, from extracted data sets. The cloud app is in advanced stages of DoD Platform One certification.
