From April 1, 2023, we will adopt a business holding company structure and make a fresh start with a new company name, MITSUI E&S Co, Ltd. Under the new structure, our operation and management are integrated, with the businesses of the former Mitsui E&S Machinery at the core, and we will speed up the development and execution of the strategies of the overall Group. We thought about our vision for achieving continued growth and stable income amid these environmental changes. In the Mid-Term Business Plan 2023 that we announced in May last year, we revised our previous manufacturing-oriented management philosophy, adopting one focused mainly on engineering and services. Going forward, we intend to be an engineering supplier, with products as our core strength, instead of being a mere product supplier. We will expand our business model to product peripherals, thus generating stable income on a sustainable basis. The E&S in MITSUI E&S stands for Engineering & Services for Evolution & Sustainability. It signifies that we will contribute to the evolution and sustainability of society with our engineering and services. I think that our mission lies in what we can do with our technologies and services to address various social issues in this era of uncertainty. It also lies in how we provide solutions to diverse social issues with our technical resources. I believe that solidifying the foundation for those activities will enable the MITSUI E&S Group to achieve sustainable growth and increase its corporate value. With the transition to a business holding company structure, we will proceed with major structural reforms, aiming to accelerate our strategies and quickly evolve so that we adapt to the new environment.
