I have officially started my own tax preparation and planning business, leveraging my previous work experience and recent success doing this on a consultative basis. As some of you know, I am a licensed CPA and have been thinking about starting my own firm ever since I left my role as a risk analyst at Credit Suisse, my employer for 9 years. During the past year, I’ve been acting as a consultant for a small tax business, Dalhausser & Associates. Prior to Credit Suisse, I worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers for 4 years as an auditor for financial service companies. Currently, I provide the following services: Tax preparation and planning for individuals and small businesses (LLCs, S-Corps, Sole Proprietorships, LLPs) Implementation and training in financial software for small businesses (e.g. Quickbooks) Other CPA services including financial statement preparation
