Mod Hob Games is an independent game company that designs and develops immersive, creative, and thoughtful tabletop and interactive experiences. Our name, Mod Hob, comes from “Modern Hobbits.” Like Tolkien’s humble heroes, we value food, friendship, and good stories. Our first game, PlotWeaver: Cards of Creation, is a storytelling card game that inspires players to craft unique, imaginative stories, either collaboratively or solo. With a strong focus on accessibility, neurodiversity, and sustainability, we’re passionate about universal design and eco-friendly production practices. At Mod Hob Games, we challenge conventional ways of working, emphasizing interdependent collaboration with independent creators and other partners and a commitment to creating meaningful, engaging experiences.
