Simon Proctor Consulting was created by Simon Proctor in 2007; Simon is the principle consultant but has an associate network that can be used for bigger projects. Simon had worked in investment banking for 7 years and in 2006 gained a high profile through success in the AQ Survey of Analysts Forecasts (placed third out of forty European retail analysts.) He appeared regularly in the print and broadcast media discussing and reporting on the retail industry). Simon decided to return to industry (having worked in commercial finance roles in the early part of his career) and use the skills he had developed in investment banking. Six years later, Simon Proctor Consulting has executed over 25 projects in areas such strategy consulting, corporate finance projects, business analysis/operations consulting and financial reporting, but with a core focus on Financial Modelling projects. These projects can be business as usual financial/strategic planning or event driven modelling projects such as bid modelling, M&A modelling or modelling for debt/equity fund raising Simon is a Chartered Management Accountant, has an MA in History from Cambridge University and did his MBA at London Business School. He is a Visiting Lecturer at City University and has published articles in business journals such as Financial Management magazine
