Modular Lab Pk

The Modular Building R&D Lab of the CUT’s Faculty of Architecture is the Joint Centre - a partnership between the Faculty of Architecture and the manufacturing company. The laboratory is also affiliated with the Centre of Metropolitan Projects and Studies (COMPAS) operating in conjunction with the Institute of Highway Technology and Innovation (IATI), coordinated by the Faculty of Architecture (CUT). The Modular Building R&D Lab covers a wide range of interdisciplinary activities, such as research and development, teaching, and promoting the field of modular construction that stimulate a partner network of cooperation between science and business; it aims to contribute to sustainable architectural and urban design. The Modular Building R&D Lab is also the name of the mobile modular office that the team designed and built (the team consists of students and employees from the FACUT). The object will soon be located on the historical grounds of the FACUT for three years and will play a role of an office of the Laboratory and a creative space of innovative technological exchange between students, researchers and industry.
