After over eight years of board making and riding experience the Monarc Board Company was established in early 2014 to accomplish three key goals: 1. Produce a superior handmade technical skateboard available to consumers of all types at a mass manufactured price point. Actively contribute in the local community by partnering with other businesses and valuing local investment. Reinvent and reinvigorate skate culture by introducing new ideas and styles to the established status quo. All Monarc boards start with the best materials. All decks are pressed in house from zero void baltic hardwood veneers and are laminated with a proprietary adhesive. Only aerospace grade carbon fiber and fiberglass are used on decks that include composite layers. Each deck is cut, sanded and finished by hand. Our boards benefit from an attention to detail and a passion for the technical aspects of board - making. Each model has been the result of lessons learned from bold experimentation. Everything from grain direction to camber loading is considered in the process of making a board that will perform well everyday.
