Monier Limited was established in Papua New Guinea in 1958 and purchased by the late Sir Theophilus (George) Constantinou in 2005 and now owned and operated by the Constantinou family. Since then Monier has made significant investment in growing capacity and capability to meet the substantial growth and complexity in construction demands in PNG. Monier is an integrated business whose operation are mostly self sufficent. It does not rely on outside sourcing for majority of its critical raw materials or for its manufacturing. The company is fully self- sufficient in coarse and fine concrete aggregates, and it importd all cement requirements direct from the manufacturer. Monier manufactures and distributes a wide range ofconstrction materials and building products including: ready mix concrete, quarry materials, reinforced concrete pipes, precast and pre-stressed concrete structural and or architectural elements, masonry block wall systems and pavers. The company makes sure to up to its creed:'The Mark of Quality. Monier directly employs in excess of 350 people in Port Moresby and has established strong brand recognition and a reputation for quality of products and services throughout Papua New Guinea.
