Monies Wealth offers investment advisory and financial planning services. Dr. Gulseren Mutlu (Dr. G) founded Monies Wealth with the passion to bring academic rigor into financial advice. Dr. G's brings a unique perspective to financial advice due to her strong background in Economics. Prior to becoming a Financial Advisor, Dr. G conducted academic research in economics, published in peer-reviewed journals such as Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal (Financial Times top 50 journal) and Economics Letters, taught economics classes to thousands of undergraduate, graduate and MBA students all over the world such as New York University, University of Texas at Austin and City University of Hong Kong. Dr. Mutlu holds a Ph.D. in Economics from New York University, a Master of Arts degree in Economics from Bogazici University and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Bogazici University. She lives in Austin, Texas along with her 11-year-old son Michael and enjoys nature walks with him. She is a member of Financial Planning Association of Austin where she leads the mastermind sessions for Women’s Initiative and a member of National Association of Forensic Economics. She also serves as the co-president of New York University Alumni Club in Austin and the Communications Leader of New York University Doctoral Alumni Association. She has bilingual proficiency in English and Turkish.
