Monocle Bookkeeping is an exciting new collaboration by two young industry professionals. Kate Wheeler is an experienced financial consultant with meticulous attention to detail. Kate has assisted in managing the finances of hundreds of businesses, ranging from humble sole-trader start-ups to intricate corporate company structures. After starting her own consulting business, Kate's attention to detail and problem solving ability saw her calendar quickly fill up with appointments. Needless to say, Kate is a highly sort after individual. Nick Hazel is a big picture entrepreneur. After starting a bookkeeping business that focused on the cash based economy of the hospitality industry, Nick looked back 12 months later and realised he has created something note worthy, but more importantly, Nick also realised that things could always be done better. Both Kate & Nick were already in control of successful start-ups before creating Monocle. However, they both found the same limitations in their respective bookkeeping businesses: Time & Resources. Monocle aims to service a wide range of clientele Australia wide. At Monocle, we believe that by embracing new ideas and technology it is possible to reach a greater number of businesses and still maintain the feeling of a boutique, quality service. Naturally, with lower overheads and less on-site time constraints the service will also provide the Client a practical, cost effective solution.
