Back in 1924, Joseph Lapanouse founded the Lapanouse manufacture which produced movements and Roskopf watches under the brand CIMIER. In the 50’s, CIMIER became a pioneer and developed a revolutionary innovation: the first Roskopf-based chronograph. It was an incredible success and over 20 million pieces have been sold. Two decades later the quartz technology was introduced to the watch industry. Again CIMIER played its perpetual enterprising and innovative role by developing and industrializing Quartz movements. In 2010, CIMIER comes back with another innovation: the WATCH ACADEMY®. CIMIER is the first Swiss watch manufacturer that involves customers in the production process by offering to create, personalize and assemble a very unique watch. And last but not least, the attendees will go home with a beautiful timepiece on their wrist and will have this wonderful experience settled in their head forever.
