Moon Made Farms

Located in Southern Humboldt County, 33.3 linear miles from the Pacific Ocean on 40 acres of leeward mountain slopes of native rock and clay, this semi-arid climate provides prime growing conditions for Cannabis. A deciduous oak grove of black, white, and live oak, as well as a mixed woodland of madrone, bay, Douglas fir, maple, and buckeye help to provide a rich ecosystem that supports a range of wildlife as well as the fertility of the soil. By using these aspects of nature, native soil, and on-site composting, we introduce forest and plant material to our gardens to ensure the best and healthiest product. We want to encourage the genetics, and ultimately epigenetics of the plant to carry through an expression of this unique geographic environment. We believe that this influence affects plant health and contributes to the plant’s unique ability to heal and inspire. The cannabis flower is a representation of this place, a sacred relationship, and a direct line to Southern Humboldt.
