Moon Road
The student project VITAL aims to develop a student rocket that will take off and land vertically using rocket motors. The thrust vectoring and navigation control systems are essential for this task. For a successful flight, the dynamic behavior of the rocket needs to be modeled to develop the navigation computer. During this project, you will obtain knowledge in different disciplines and become an expert in one of the project's essential positions. The technical focus of this project lies in multiple take-offs and landings to improve the simulation and the navigation control system. The social focus of this project is on sustainability. Most rockets are still one-time usage. Many orbits are full of debris and dead satellites, endangering future human space flight. The way we treat our planet’s free resources is alarming. We can only develop the technology to land humans on Mars with sustainability.
