In 1972, Gary Moore and Donald Cormier formed Moore and Cormier Foundation Forming Ltd. With young families to support, Gary and Donald ventured into the risky world of entrpreneurship, backed by only their instincts, extensive experience in the construction industry, and dedication to the welfare and security of their families. Today it is obvious that this legacy grows on, as M&C Foundation Forming enters its 37th year in business, with no signs of slowing down! In fact, as new technologies emerge and improved techniques are developed in the foundation forming industry, we look forward to evolving, too, and continuing to provide our clients with quality products and services. Throughout the last 36 years, Moore and Cormier Foundation Forming has become a leader in Nova Scotia's thriving construction industry, and has set the bar high for other foundation contractors. Gary Moore has shared his experiences with other business owners and young entrepreneurs in the construction industry, in order to assist their endeavors, and is well respected by other industry stakeholders throughout Nova Scotia and beyond. Gary has served as president of the Canadian Poured Concrete Wall Association, has been a board member and is still an active member of CFA, and is a regular attendee at the annual World of Concrete Trade Show and Exhibition, where he gains new information and resources to bring back to Nova Scotia. Our team of field employees also attend the World of Concrete, where they participate in training seminars and workshops in order to learn and apply new techniques and technologies back on the job here at home.
