Shiatsu Massage is a Japanese technique of acupressure massage that is based on Chinese medicine. The client lies on a futon on the floor in a serene atmosphere dressed in loose comfortable clothing. Julie then uses her hands, forearms, knees, and feet to massage, move and stretch the body, enhancing it’s energy. Shiatsu not only addresses problematic areas of our physical body such as: knees, back, neck and shoulders, but also supports our body’s own healing capabilities for minor ailments and illnesses. Julie also assists with emotional healing helping the client to cope with what life throws our way such as stress, anxiety, grief, fear, anger, etc. You may choose any or all of the above during your session to enlighten your body, mind and soul.
