After spending half a year immersed in the authenticity and slow-living spirit of the Mozambican people - where time seems to slow down and connection takes center stage - our founder was inspired to create a brand that reflects those values. The idea was simple: to bring the carefree, friendly, and colorful essence of Mozambique to the world. The result? A brand that’s all about living lightly, celebrating individuality, and living at our own pace. After embarking on a six-month adventure to Mozambique, our founder returned to Portugal with more than memories - she brought a new way of seeing life: slower, simpler, and more intentional. Along with that, she carried a few pieces of vibrant African fabric known as capulanas. During lockdown, she learned how to sew with her mother and grandmother. What began as small experiments with geometric shapes on clothing soon became something deeper - a way to express creativity, connection, and purpose. In 2022, that idea came to life and Mooza was launched - a brand that celebrates slow living, cultural fusion, and conscious design. Since then, each piece has been handmade with care, blending minimal style with capulana details. And part of every sale supports local initiatives in Mozambique through GASPORTO, helping children and mothers in need. Mooza isn’t just about clothes. It’s for people who want to live slower - with purpose, peace, and intention. It’s a reminder that we all have our own pace and rhythm, and that life makes more sense when we embrace authenticity, imperfection, and meaning.
