Altruist Group works across West Midlands targeting 4 key areas; health and wellbeing, accommodation, supported living and advice and support. Altruist looks to provide provisions mainly for children who need placement services through Local Authority referrals or emergency placements. The children will be offered supported living accommodation and support accessing education to empower young people to develop the essential skills to live independently in future. The service will meet the needs of the young people by providing domestic care and support to support with independent living that is monitored 24/7 but with the hopes of engaging them through a family-based system. This will be achieved by promoting a standard of excellence, which will embrace the fundamental principles of good care, the practice that will be identified and evaluated through witnessed care and feedback.
