Morii’ in Hindi languge means ‘mine’. In parts of central and north India, when a woman claims something of her own she calles it Morii. From its inception Morii celebrated emotions. Diminishing the gap between art and the hands that weave wonders. ‘Morii’ means ‘forest’ in Japanese language. Each of our creation reflects an authentic and organic take on the otherwise progressive lifestyle. Morii is deeply connected to the essence of forest. We Believe. We celebrate art and emotion. Our ethos are defined by choosing the right raw material and giving each process its own time to take the purest form. We gather stories in the process of making our products, and these stories becomes our product campaigns. This is our idea of sustainability. An ode to every artisan in the unseen, Morii aims to celebrate and uplift everyone involved. We wish for our customers to relate with the product they are buying and be able to own with pride. For a product without a story is nothing more than a dead piece. What We Do And How. Art and textiles being an indIspensable part of her life, Morii followed the lead just fine. Organic dyes, authentic craft and completely sustainable approach. We organise design workshops with the craftspeople in their villages. We provide them exposure and implement their skillset todevelop something which will be a perfect fit forthe market. Our aesthetics and their skills when bought together give birth to the new-age patterns and designs. Designs that have undeniable legacy but the appeal stands at par with what people like and want.
