We’ve been around for 30 years. We started with one employee in the basement of a credit union, and have grown to a staff of over 120 people in five states. We’ve called Southfield our home for the past 30 years and have deep roots in the community. Mortgage Center is 100% credit union owned. Our belief is in being a lender for life, and we never sell servicing. We are a direct lender, not a broker, and practice community-based lending. There is no third party outsourcing of the mortgage process. We hire experts, from beginning to end, starting with experienced loan officers who are incentivized to act as financial advisors, ensuring that every loan we close is the best loan for our members. We offer a variety of products, designed to meet our partner credit union members’ needs. We write government, conventional, construction, and home equity loans, as well as offering mortgage loans that are exclusive to our credit union partners.
