Mosaic Lebanon

MOSAIC is a holistic program committed to improve the health and well-being of marginalized and vulnerablized groups in Lebanon and beyond. Through its presence and networks in Lebanon and the MENA region, MOSAIC's strategic goal is to achieve the coexistence of people in their respective communities and national systems. Founded by activists, legal and health experts in September 2014, MOSAIC provides specialized and comprehensive services for marginalized groups, research and advocate for policy reform, develop knowledge and capacities on SOGIESC (Sexual Orientation & Gender Identity/Expressions, and Sex Characteristics) issues, and engage the societies in the fight against human rights violations, especially against LGBTIQ+ rights violations. We envision a society where gender and sexual identities are respected in mosaic communities in which individuality is valued and fully embraced in inclusionary collective spaces, without unequal gendered socialization, and without fear and persecution. We provide services to all marginalized groups and for LGBTIQ+ communities. We work to bridge service gaps for male survivors of sexual violence and Trans* persons. The structure of MOSAIC reflects the inclusive integrated community in which we believe.
