Mossy Fern

Recipient of the Best of Westchester award, Mossy Fern is a boutique garden center and florist in downtown Hastings-on-Hudson. We sell indoor and outdoor plants with an emphasis on rare and unusual botanicals. In addition to exotic plants, the shop also carries organic soils, compost and fertilizers, handcrafted garden tools, pottery and containers, Annuals and Perennials, seeds, cannabis grow kits, garden decor and gifts. Services include landscape installation, interior-scaping, event florist, custom made tropical and desert terrariums, plant repotting and consultation for residential and commercial spaces. Fresh cut flowers are available weekly. We are part of a handful of businesses that have helped to reinvigorate the downtown area of Hastings-on-Hudson. We employ people who live in the community, we sponsor community programs such as the little league, animal shelters, and town government green initiatives. We partner with other businesses to help drive the local economy through collaborations and targeted grassroots customer campaigns. We also sell seeds, vegetables, and gardening supplies which allow our customers to grow their own food and become self sustainable.
