With over 20 years in logistics, our founders saw a need to connect shippers to transporters without added middlemen (such as brokers or forwarders). We also saw that illegal transporters were stealing money and freight through other web applications without oversight or security to the shippers. Motherload has been a passion of ours to launch and show there are other ways to save money and simplify transportation. We accomplish this by offering free postings of shipments, and getting bids without middleman markups. This gives transporters more money per mile, and at the same time, offers shippers savings. All Motherload transporters are vetted for proper insurance and licensing; this allows piece of mind knowing only legal transporters will be managing your shipment.
