Mothpeople

Mothpeople is a creative collective of storytellers based in Southeast Asia with backgrounds in journalism, film production, advertising, and public relations. We have about two decades of experience through creative and ad agencies, in-house brand teams for global companies, startups, and government departments. We know exactly what works and what doesn't. Our goal is to demystify essential but complex products and services effectively and efficiently through storytelling, while remaining culturally authentic and original to reach a universal audience. We live in the intersection of traditional industries like media, travel, tech, and lifestyle with modern emerging technologies like blockchain, agritech, Web3, and AI. This is also reflected in how we approach each project, as we use well-researched cultural nuances, audience and market insights, and emotional sensitivity in our storytelling approach. Our remote-first work environment consists of workflows that combine the traditional ways of human-led planning and oversight with the lightspeed execution of generative and agentic AI through system prompts, automated workflows, and well-defined prompt engineering. This allows us to achieve results in 1/10th of the time compared to the tried and tested "old school methods" from years ago, allowing us to remain productive and efficient with plenty of room for creative freedom and expression. We are always on the lookout to collaborate with like-minded founders and product marketing teams to elevate world-changing technologies for mass adoption, as we strongly believe the next generation of life-changing tech has already arrived, and we can help educate and inform the world about it.
