MotionLED Technology is an Anglo Asian media technology company delivering high definition LED based display systems, that when combined with movement, create visually spectacular video and still images for advertisers in places where previously advertising could not be placed. This includes in train metro tunnels, or alongside high speed rail tracks, in the wheels of race cars or taxis. The company was founded by Des Althorp, co-founder of Telematics (floated on Nasdaq, valued at $350 million) and founder of Datacraft Asia,(floated on Singapore Stock Exchange, valued at over $5 billion) and Graham Skelton who worked for Des at Telematics and with Des as a supplier at Datacraft, and together in other ventures. Originally seed funded, to acquire significant patents and other intellectual property, the company has since raised development capital, enabling Des to recruit the stars from his exec team at Datacraft to focus a major emphasis on Asian business. The company now faces the challenge of recruiting the management team in the UK to develop the European market for this groundbreaking new product line.
