Motivations Counseling

Motivations Counseling provides immigration psychological evaluations and evidence-based counseling services across Texas (telehealth and in-person in Sugar Land/Katy). We specialize in clinically thorough, attorney-ready evaluation reports that support a wide range of immigration matters, including extreme hardship waivers (I-601/I-601A), VAWA, U-Visa/T-Visa, asylum-related evaluations, cancellation of removal, and I-246 stay of removal documentation. Our evaluations are grounded in trauma-informed clinical interviewing, standardized screening tools when appropriate, and careful report writing designed to clearly communicate mental health findings and functional impact. We coordinate professionally with attorneys and legal teams (with proper releases) and prioritize clarity, timeliness, and clinical integrity. In addition to evaluations, we offer counseling services for adults, teens, couples, and families, including support for trauma, anxiety, depression, adjustment, and life transitions.
