Mount Batten Centre Charity Trust

The Mount Batten Watersports and Activities Centre in Plymouth is one of the foremost Outdoor Education centres in the South West – the Centre has a reputation for excellence, professionalism and operates to the highest standards. On offer are schools residentials, multi-activity courses, family fun days, watersports Instructor courses, RYA and British Canoeing personal proficiency awards and corporate team building events. In late 2014, the Mount Batten Watersports and Activities Centre was granted charity status (previously a not-for-profit organisation) after successfully meeting the criteria governed by Charity Law. The Centre has always considered the ‘advancement of education’ and the ‘advancement of amateur sport’ at its core and ‘to promote, sustain and increase individual and collective knowledge and understanding of specific areas of study, skills and expertise.’
