Founded by step-brothers Gregory Gruschka and Javier Ballve, Movement is funded by the European Private Equity firm, Springwater Capital (SWC). Movement was set up to further diversify the SWC portfolio outside of Europe into Canada. Javier, Gregory, and the SWC team bring a wealth of business and entrepreneurial experience to the table. Movements Investment Firm is dedicated to pursuing Small to Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) with earnings between $5-15 million, primarily located in North America with a strong emphasis on Canadian businesses. As an industry-agnostic investor, we focus on companies that exhibit resilience to economic cycles, ensuring stability even during uncertain times. In addition to these criteria, we seek businesses that demonstrate a track record of robust free cash flow generation, reflecting financial health and growth potential. Our partnerships are further strengthened by targeting companies with motivated and competent management teams that successfully operate within industries containing existing barriers to entry.
