moware

moware is a product design studio that utilises waste as a raw material to create beautiful and meaningful products. Our journey started in 2013 to implement a design-led intervention to the problem of waste in Nepal. We upcycle glass and single-use plastic collected from the hiking trails an the tourist hubs in Kathmandu valley. We are a women-led organization that works in a grass-roots action model to promote sustainable design and circular economy. All our products are carefully handcrafted by our artisans at our moware lab located at the foothills of the Himalayas.
