Founded February 20, 2006, With members ranging in varying fields. The MPSIG encompasses the Midwest, boasting Chapters and Affiliates in many of those states. One of our core philosophies is that we believe supporting others in our community, this will not only help define who we are but will also bring to light those in the community that we work with and the work that they do. In light of this, we never charge for our investigations, ever. We do though accept donations; and when received, the donations are put towards equipment, training, transportation and lodging costs. We as a Society focus our efforts on trying to disprove or provide proof of the existence of the Paranormal, due to a Haunting or a Supernatural nature of a place, through rigorous Investigation and Research. It is not that some of us do not believe, however it is that most often there are rational and mundane explanations that should be pursued first. We do not do Exorcisms, Blessings, Purification, Etc. However assuming the appropriate nature of the case, we can direct such to the appropriate Persons/Groups/Societies that do that work. We are run by a strict code of ethics and have policies in place for the protection of our Members as well as the People and Places being investigated. Our goals are but are not limited to-Giving informative information to those that wish an investigation -Historical Research and Documentation from Paranormal annals where available -To extend and inform to the public, knowledge in the field of Paranormal studies -The procurement of an accepted scientific method in the study of the Paranormal Field Also Check us out at: and
