Mr. & Mr

The Montpellier based design duo Mr. & Mr. shakes up everyday habits. Its hybrid practice of design associates craftsmanship, reworked materials or uses and visible innovation resulting in a unique artistic sensibility. Their creations are often born from an anecdote or funny observation on the world around us. The process for making objects sometimes leaves aesthetic or banal stigmata on the final products through the choice of materials, how they are worked or their final use. The idea of error plays a role in the development of each project which they use as a leitmotif to establish a creative positioning in today’s design world. Mr. & Mr. sees their output as an ongoing “work in progress” enriched by collaborations and private orders.
