Onafhankelijk van elkaar groeide bij de maatschappen radiologie MST, SKB en ZGT het besef dat de afzonderlijke maatschappen onvoldoende volume hadden in zowel het aantal radiologen als in de productie per vakgebied om een orgaangerichte specialisatie volwaardig te kunnen vormgeven. Door fusie waarborgen wij kwalitatief hoogwaardige radiologische zorg voor alle aanvragers en patiënten in de regio. Dit resulteert in een regiomaatschap radiologie onder één bestuur: Maatschap Radiologie Oost-Nederland (MRON).
