I provide services focused on care and companionship. My approach is not only to ensure your loved one is taken care of, but that the family is able to rest easy as well. Below is a description of some of the services I provide. I have found that each case is unique and I look forward to discusing your specific needs. Companionship: Some individuals prefer just knowing someone is there, others prefer to converse and establish a bond. I'm comfortable in both situations and take my cues from the one recieving care as to how much or little talking they prefer. Basic care: Serving and light preparation of meals, assisting with changing clothes and getting around, planning activities and other non-medical care is provided. Light housekeeping: A clean environment can make us all feel better! Medication reminders: While I cannot administer drugs, I will provide reminders about when to and when not to take medications per instructions provided by a medical professional Track meals, activities, meds, etc. I will keep a log of specific events for reference by family members. Updates to family members I will provide updates to family members and can do so via phone, text, email, etc. at desired times. Flexible schedule: I can be available days, nights and weekends with notice. I come to you! I will come to wherever your loved one is. In their home, in the hospital or another care facility.
