The VUB Master of Science in Communication Studies offers you the interdisciplinary insights needed to understand today's hyperconnected society and become a critical and reflective professional in the field of media and communication. The VUB offers two 60 ECTS English-language Masters in Communication Studies:'Digital Media in Europe' and 'Journalism and Media in Europe’. Digital Media in Europe takes an original interdisciplinary approach to new media and allows students to concentrate on business, policy and/or user aspects of new media: Journalism and Media in Europe takes a critical and interdisciplinary look at the role of journalism and media in European societies from an economic, political-ideological and policy perspective: Both of these English-language masters leverage the Brussels network of European and international institutions and the many media, journalism and communication professionals working in and around these.
