About the Mueller Foundation The Mueller Foundation is a nonprofit organization committed to preserving long-term affordable homeownership and supporting the social sustainability of the Mueller Austin community. As a key partner in one of the nation’s most celebrated public-private redevelopments, the Foundation helps ensure that 25% of all homes in Mueller remain affordable—a benchmark that has drawn national recognition. Since our founding, we've: Served over 900 homeowners through affordable sales and resales Built a portfolio of 680+ affordable homes Maintained an average affordable sales price nearly 50% below the area median We believe that a vibrant, diverse, and inclusive neighborhood is the foundation of a thriving city. Through long-term stewardship, resale oversight, and community collaboration, we work to keep Mueller a model for equity and opportunity.
