Multi Media Artist

I am a multi media artist. I work in sculpture, printmaking, assemblage and collage. Archaeology, pre-history and imagination are the basis of my work. Often we hear or read of lost civilizations or new discoveries of old ones. My work makes me think of a time in the history of our planet when humans evolved from some other life form. The common theory is that humanoids came from apes, however, could some have come from a different species, maybe from reptiles? They would have been a bit clumsy on land and very agile and strong in the water. Would our image of ourselves be changed if this were so? This idea channels my imagination and fantasy seems only natural to me that someday, palaeontologists or archaeologists would discover the same lines and forms either etched on a fossil or discover an artefact similar to those that I have created.
