Komugi has been expanding locally in Kuala Lumpur, and internationally with 15 franchising outlets in Philippines. Komugi also introduced the first Japanese Bakery mobile app, namely Komugi Malaysia Application, in 2017. Komugi Central Kitchen has also been halal certified in January 2018 and obtained Hazard Analysis And Critical Control Points (HACCP) certification in February 2021. From there on Komugi expanded beyond retail business by starting the supply of pastries business to large corporate customers.
