Municipal Educational Institution The Yeysk School of Comprehensive Education Nº3 has a long history. In 1880 the landlord Chebotarev built a one-storey building for his own needs. As far back as 1912, there was a grain warehouse in this building the merchant Chag's bread-pile at the intersection of Berdyanskaya Street and Vorontsovskogo Avenue. The first students took our school on 01 September 1912. In 1913 the Town Duma redeems the building and opens a male gymnasium for 105 students. The first director was the teacher of mathematics Storozhenko G.P. After the end of the civil war in 1920, a second-level Soviet school with a 7-year education was opened here. Since 1930 it has become a nine-year school of factory training. In 1942 it was a ten-year school. In 1943, after the liberation of Yeysk from the Nazi invaders, the school became a women's secondary school Nº3. In 1948, A.G. Maygur was appointed the director. When he was at school were attached school number Nº12 and school Nº23, from where the children entered the upper grades. In 1954, Mamchenko O.I. became the school's director, later he headed the town department of public education. In 1958, Antonov D.M. came to the post of director. By his efforts to the old school building, a new three-storey building with a gym and a buffet were built. In 1963–1967 the school was headed by Tretyakov A.P. With him, the school was transformed into an eleven-year labour polytechnic school with industrial training. In 1970, the school was led by Kokova A.S, and in 1976 by Nekhoroshikh V.N; Golovin A.G. in 1978, and Ivlev S.A. in 1979. In 1980, the director of the school became Karzhin G.M. Since 1985, for 16 years, the school was headed by Eremenko N.L. In 2001, Slinko V.V. was appointed the school's director. Under his leadership in 2002, a new three-storey building of an elementary school for 150 seats was put into operation with a capacity of 100 seats. In 2013 the school celebrated its 100th anniversary. Nowadays the key to success in the work of the school is its solid, faithful to the traditions of the pedagogical team, which is headed by Mozgovaya E.H. Currently the school team employs 34 teachers, among which four were awarded the badge “Excellent Worker of Public Education”. Currently the school awards the following degrees: • Certificate of Secondary General Education (“Attestat ob osnovnom obschem obrazovanii”); • Certificate of Secondary Complete Education (“Attestat o srednem (polnom) obschem obrazovanii”).
