In 2017, students of International Relations course at Potiguar University had their first experiences, within the course, with simulations of international organizations, which had the opportunity to put into practice the contents learned in the classroom. From these experiences came the need, both on the part of the students and by the faculty, to continue the simulations with the creation of a project that made the community more visible. It is in this sense and with the intention of being the first in the state to be created by the course of International Relations that arises MUNIS - Model United Nations International Simulation. With its first edition scheduled for May 2018, being the state pioneer in simulations in the first semester, MUNIS focuses on the attribution of the principles of International Relations as a tool for diplomatic construction, aiming at the integration of delegates and their ways of acting. For this, the delegates will be trained in Political and International knowledge, in Mechanisms of Stabilization of the International System, and also in International Law, thus building a more faithful environment possible to the diplomat.
