At Murrumbidgee Council, we proudly serve a vibrant rural community of nearly residents across Coleambally, Darlington Point, Jerilderie and surrounding localities. With offices and depots in each of our main towns, we employ around 90 dedicated staff - 93% of whom live locally - making us an employer of choice in the region. Spanning 6,880 square kilometres, our area is defined by a rich agricultural heritage. The combination of temperate climate, fertile land, extensive irrigation and natural water assets, including over 100 kilometres of Murrumbidgee River frontage and the iconic Billabong Creek, supports diverse and productive farming enterprises.
