Musbik Industry introduce ourselves as Nonferrous Foundry specialised in Gravity Die-Castings (GDC). We specialise in manufacturing aluminium alloy castings. Some details about Gravity Die Casting process: ‘Gravity Die Casting Process’ also known as ‘Permanent Mould Process’ is suitable for medium to large size batch production. Even a lot of 150-200 castings can be cast economically by this process. It is much superior in ‘geometrical accuracies’ and ‘aesthetic appearance’ to ‘Sand Casting Process’. GDC process can handle more variety of Aluminium alloys (heat treatable), than Pressure Die Casting (PDC). Some times even ‘sand cores required for complex shapes’ can be used in this process, which is not feasible in PDC. Cost of the dies for GDC can be 25-30% of PDC. Medium size castings (weighing 10-15 Kg.) can be cast very easily. We can reduce weights by 25-30% by converting Sand Cast components to GDC process. This can be achieved by re -engineering the component design, by reducing wall thickness, eliminating or reducing machining allowances. Castings produced by GDC process are 30-40% stronger (tensile ) and have more elongation than Sand cast Components. Musbik Industry gives a complete solution to Industries’ requirement of nonferrous castings. We offer preparation of drawings, manufacturing of required dies, producing sound castings and machining them as per requirements. All development activities will be carried out, under one roof.
