Mushtree Farm
In November 2020, 1.27 million Oregonians voted yes on Measure 109 (The Oregon Psilocybin Services Act). The passing of Measure 109 directs the Oregon Health Authority (OHA) to license and regulate the manufacturing, transportation, delivery, sale, and purchase of psilocybin products. After a two-year development period, the OHA will begin accepting applications for licenses starting January 2nd, 2023. With the rising prevalence of depression and anxiety, many people are looking towards alternative forms of mental healthcare. For example, the beneficial and therapeutic effects gained from consuming psilocybin (a psychedelic compound produced by some fungi/mushrooms). We at Mushtree Farm believe in the healing powers of psilocybin and access to psilocybin services in Oregon should be equitable and inexpensive. With this in mind, Mushtree Farm will seek to obtain a license, from the Oregon Health Authority, to cultivate, package, wholesale, and deliver psilocybin producing mushrooms. Mushtree Farm has started a GoFundMe and Givebutter to accept donations from anyone who wishes to help us achieve our goal.
