Music For Development

Music for Development is an organization comprising of young Musicologists, Performers, and Volunteers who use music as a tool to transform their society; specifically in achieving the ‘Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)’. In all, we see music as a thermostat that regulates the society, and we are dedicated to using music as a tool for developing our society, Africa. Our Goals and Objectives are as follows-Harness and explore the power of the music of several cultures as it affects members of the society through research-To help the dependent and marginalized sections of the community with natural music talents develop their talents into profitable skills-To use music as a tool to address social issues-To work with other NGOs and organizations in using music and other related arts as a tool to achieve their set goals and objectives-To engage key partners in reshaping today’s music as it affects in Africa
