Music Gets Me High is a socially conscious music and entertainment company owned by Ritnika Nayan. Started in the summer of 2007 in New Delhi, India, the company’s portfolio of services include; Artist Management & Bookings, Festival, Concert & tour planning and execution, Venue Residencies, Social Media Management and Consultancy. With nearly a decade of experience in live events and artist management, MGMH has been an integral part in the explosion of independent culture in India. The Company has worked with artists like Jalebee Cartel, Kohra, Nucleya, Advaita, Susmit Sen Chronicles, Shaai’r & Func, Manu Chao and Guns & Roses in India. They have successfully organized and executed Festivals like ‘Ziro Festival of Music’ in Arunachal Pradesh, ‘Escape festival of Music – Naukuchiatal’, ‘Global Groove electronic music festival’ & ’ Eastwind festival of music’ and more. MGMH also runs Delhi’s largest rehearsal studio ‘Soundstation’ which has professional quality sound and treated acoustics. The company has always been a strong advocate for independent music and has released various books on music including – ‘HUB’ – India’s first and only book on electronic music and ‘Indie 101: The ultimate guide book to the independent music industry in India’. With clear understanding of both International and domestic music markets, the company strives to bridge the gap by continuous dialogue with international counterparts and by exploring ways to push the Indian envelope forward.
