Originally, MICU was chartered in 1954 by a group of professional musicians in Southern California who belonged to the American Federation of Musicians Local 47. Today, our Credit Union family has extended to many entertainment unions and guilds and also serves those that live, work or worship in the Hollywood area. MICU is a full service, member-owned and not-for-profit financial institution.
